Team Trail Shop AR just shared news that they are hosting an event in February.  These guys always put on great events!  Details are as follows:

Participate in teams of two (2) or more and collect as many orienteering controls as you can in 4 hours in the short category or 6 hours in the long. Bring the family out to the 4 hour challenge, or your warm socks to the 6 hour!

Acceptable disciplines are trekking / running, mountain biking, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. We’ll do our best to report snow conditions in the area as the date approaches. Any single discipline listed above is allowed, but of course we’d like to see people try more than one!

Registration / Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. at the end of Myra Rd. in Porter’s Lake, NS. Details on advanced registration will be available soon. Cost: $30 per person, or $25 if registered in advance. Price included maps and some post race snacks!
