Upcoming Orienteering Events
We recently attended Storm the Beach hosted by Andrew, Erica, Tim and Jodi which was held in the Halifax area, we had a blast. Hopefully they will make this an annual event, I have already put it on my calendar for next year. I was a very difficult, cold and scenic course that had something challenging for all experience levels.
On a side note we ran into Rob Hughes who was down to take part as well, and as it turns out he is back at it again in the Fredericton area. Here is an email I received from Rob with a link to some upcoming Orienteering Events. Now is the perfect time of year to start practicing your navigating for next season’s adventure races.

Of special interest to us AR aficionados are the two night events, and the Oct 25 4-h event at Wentworth. Also, anyone in the Fredericton area should take in the Oct 24 event at Mactaquac. That looks like a busy weekend!
On another line of thought, I am thinking of putting on a winter event of some kind in the local area, would you guys be interested? Maybe in Feb.
